- Meeting with the local bear expert at about 13:00 at the Podbanske in Tatras at a parking place and taking over the powerful binoculars.
2. Next is the journey to one of the three valleys where there is the greatest possibility of observing brown bears. During the tour, we will show the Bear trees and, bear holes in the slopes and we will wait with binoculars at the spotting positions from where we usually watch them. As soon as we spot a single bear, or a bear with cubs, we stop and observe the bears with powerful binoculars .
3. Before returning from bear watching tour, I will provide a training on how to behave in individual encounters with a bear based on my own experiences. I will also share my own stories from close encounters with bears and observations of bears chasing other animals in the wild.
